Saudi Arabia Frees Covid-19 Vaccine to Everyone in the Kingdom
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health said a vaccine against the new coronavirus ( COVID-19 ) would be freely available to everyone living in the Kingdom. "The COVID-19 vaccine will be available to everyone in Saudi Arabia free of charge ... We hope to have enough vaccines to cover 70 percent of the country's population by the end of 2021," said a Health Ministry statement carried by state television station Al-Ekhbariya TV. Health Ministry spokesman Mohammed Abdelali said in a daily coronavirus press conference, as quoted in Arabiya English , Tuesday (24/11/2020), said; "Every vaccine must be safe, effective, and approved by the relevant authorities." To date Saudi Arabia has reported 355,489 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection, 343,816 patients recovered, and 5,796 deaths.
